ob Purpose
To act as Company Head Of Construction, representing the Company on site & managing the EPC
contractor’s activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Company inspection and supervision resources.
Manage the completion of construction and commissioning activities of cross country gas pipelines, compression stations and other hydrocaron handling faclilties according to the design, in a safe manner, within schedule and in accordance with applicable Company Procedures and Technical Specifications.
Assist in managing the interfaces between discipline activities and with other stakeholders in the area.
Oversee all construction activities throughout to a fully inspected/tested completion, such that commissioning (and future operation /maintenance) of newly constructed facilities is trouble free
Participate in technical and QHSE audits.
Issue periodic report to Projects Manager.
Qualification and Skills :
University graduate in engineering Discipline (preferably mechanical engineering).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction management of oil and gas facilities.
Good knowledge of Engineering Design of Oil & Gas pipelines and stations.
Knowledge of management of Consultancy and EPC Contracts.
Working Knowledge of MS Office Software.
Strong understanding & appreciation of other cultures & cross-cultural integration in multifaceted environment.
Highly developed language skills in written & spoken English.
